yes and they were made using twist manufacturing processes, basically it was machined all in similar planes 180 degrees between throws, then heated and twisted to the different degreed positions. We have come a long way since then.

Yeah I don’t know that much about fabrication and metal, but that doesn’t sound like a great idea.
